Are you wanting to take more control of your future? A vision board can help you take your goals and visualize them. In this post, I am going to show you how to make a vision board for 2022. You can also refer back to my vision board post from last year.
Benefits of a Vision Board
According to Psychology Today, seeing is believing. You have to start establishing a specific goal and imagine that you have already achieved that goal. Having a visual board can help you to visualize your goals. When you visualize your goals, they are more likely to get accomplished.
Top 5 reasons why a vision board is essential for manifestation:
- A vision board makes your dreams clear.
- You have more opportunity to focus on your goals.
- Your intentions can be more specific.
- There is more opportunity to be motivated when you see your goals visually.
- Productivity can be enhanced.
How to Make a Vision Board
In order to make a vision board you will need the following materials:
- Poster board
- Images and text from online sources
- Glue sticks
- Paper and pen
- Markers or sharpies
Step 1: Reflect on The Past Year
Take some time to think about this last year. Write down what you liked and what you didn’t like. You can use the free printable from the vision board post last year. Make some notes about what you want 2022 to look like. The more descriptive your notes are, the easier time you will have making your vision board.
Step 2: Pick Your Goals
After you have done your reflection, it’s time to take your notes and turn your notes into goals for 2022. When you make your goals, think about all of the areas of your life that you want to focus on. Pick the areas that you are wanting to see change in.
Step 3: Collect Words and Images That Reflect Your Goals
Use your magazines and print-outs of pictures and words to help you visualize your goals. Cut your images and words out that describe the goals you are wanting to achieve in 2022.
Step 4: Organize Your Images on Your Poster Board
Take your images that you cut out from step 3 and organize them on your board. Group them by your different goals into separate sections. Then, use your glue stick to secure your images to your poster board.
Step 5: Place Your Vision Board in a Prime Location
Take your finished vision board and place it in a location of your home that you can view daily. You will want to have a prime location for the vision board, so that it’s easy for you to access your vision board. The more you see the vision board, the more you will be able to focus on your vision.
Step 6: Make Time for Your Vision Board
Make a set time to look at your vision board daily. It doesn’t have to be for very long, you only need to have some visualization time to increase the opportunity for your vision to be accomplished. It’s all about focus. The more you focus on your goals, the more likely you will achieve them.
Take control of your future by visualizing your goals. When you make a vision board for yourself and you focus on it, you are more likely to see your vision turn to reality. Please let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.
