Why is Decluttering Important?
Decluttering goes beyond what you see. The act of decluttering is essential for your mental and physical wellbeing. If you are surrounded by clutter and lack organization, there is a good chance that you are stressed. Clutter can not only cause you stress, but also money. By decluttering, you will reduce your stress and probably also save money. Both, will help you live your best life.

Where do You Start Decluttering?
Now that you have the evidence why it is important to declutter, it’s time to start decluttering. Where do you start? Check out my 30 day challenge image that I made on this blog post for you. I broke the challenge into 30 days to give you time to do some decluttering each day. You will get exhausted if you do it all in a short amount of time. Thirty days should be enough time to sort through your clutter.
In this 30 day challenge, we are starting in the garage. I like to start decluttering in the garage because it gets you off to a good start before you enter your home to declutter. Also, by starting with decluttering your garage, it should help your interest of wanting to declutter inside your home. Take it one day at a time and you’ll be on your way to a life of less stress and more order.

How to Declutter with Some Essential Tips
Don’t feel like you have to declutter the entire space in one day. Maybe you decide to pick a section in the specific area and you clean that space out. You can do that for each day of the challenge. If you feel like your clutter is overwhelming, do a little each day. Your space might not be completely decluttered at the end of the challenge. If you’re not finished at the end of the 30 days, revisit the next month. You can use this declutter challenge every month until you have your desired results.
Here are some more tips to help you be successful with decluttering:

• Ask yourself if you really need the item in question
