Tip #2: Wake up Early
Waking up early gives you extra time to self-care. Taking care of yourself is a crucial part of being productive. Being a mom isn’t easy. Giving yourself some time to directly focus on you will start your day off in a positive way.
Tip #3: Follow a Morning Routine
Following a morning routine will start your day with structure. Structure gives you the opportunity to work towards personal goals. I have a 5 step routine that I follow daily. This routine starts my day off right. I highly recommend it!
Tip #4: Eat a Healthy Breakfast
According to WebMD, eating a healthy breakfast can help your memory and concentration. I completely agree. Food is fuel for your body. Providing your body with proper nutrition in the morning can help you more.
Tip #5: Focus on your Least Favorite Task First
Tackle your least favorite task first. Do it! If you don’t, your day will pass and that task will be there again the next day. Take a deep breathe and tackle that task you loathe. When you are done, you will feel so much better.
Tip #6: Give Your Children Chores
Give your children chores. Chores help them just as much as they help you. Giving children chores provides them with a sense of responsibility. The more they get comfortable with doing chores, the easier it will be as they get older.
Tip #7: Time Block Your Day
Time blocking is another favorite of mine. Use your planner to block your time out. I have a dedicated article all about time blocking. Get the most from your daily schedule and block out your time.
Tip #8: Get Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep is essential for being productive. If you don’t get enough sleep you may lack energy and focus. Without energy and focus you won’t be able to face your day at optimum performance. I know it’s hard always getting sleep being a mom. Try your best to get as much as you can.
Tip #9: Say “No”.
Say “no” to whatever is not making your life better. It is your life so make your plans for what you want. You are already a mom and that is hard as it is. You don’t owe anyone anything. Say “no” when you want.
Tip #10: Hire Help
If you are overwhelmed as a mom and have too much going on, hire someone to help. Hiring a helper can ease the stress with all of the tasks you already have. You will be more productive in the long run.
Tip #11: Unplug
Unplug from everything. Take a nice bath and/or read a good book. Take some time to yourself and relax. You are more than a mom, you are you. Take time for you and you will be more productive.

Simplify as much as you can. Simplifying can help you to have less to focus on. Having children is a blessing and it also requires a lot of focus. Simplifying other things in your life will help you out.

Literally, get out of your house. Get out in nature. Look at nature and enjoy the beauty of the world we live in. Take time to enjoy the natural scenery around you. Take time to absorb the natural beauty. Getting out of your house can help you to refocus when you go back home.

Plan at least 15 minutes per day of quality focus time with each child. Giving each child undivided attention will help you as much as it will help them. I believe that spending focus time with your children can help you to realize your value and therefore be more productive.
